Description

  • Design and maintain scalable, reliable systems that support company objectives and technical standards
  • Establish and uphold coding standards, design principles, and development practices across teams
  • Guide architectural decisions and align technical roadmaps with stakeholders
  • Lead complex initiatives from initial concept through delivery alongside engineering, product, and design
  • Resolve technical challenges, reduce delivery risks, and develop practical solutions
  • Take ownership of application and system performance, security, and reliability
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
  • Offer constructive guidance through code reviews
  • Partner with engineering and other departments on feature development and technology integration
  • Adopt practices, tools, and processes that improve efficiency, code quality, and system performance
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement lasting improvements
  • Assess emerging technologies and apply appropriate innovations
  • Explain complex technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Contribute to senior-level technical discussions and strategic decisions
  • Collect and respond to stakeholder feedback in support of business objectives

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of software development experience, including work on large-scale systems and application architecture
  • Professional experience with one or more languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript
  • Strong knowledge of Python, Flask, FastAPI, AWS, or comparable technologies
  • Thorough understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices
  • Experience with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and microservices
  • Familiarity with DevOps, continuous integration and delivery, and automation
  • Strong problem-solving ability and capacity to work independently or collaboratively
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical audiences
  • Legal authorization to work in the jurisdiction where the role is performed
