The role covers campaign planning, production leadership, publishing, community management, and performance optimization across major social platforms.

Description

  • Plan and manage social content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube for multiple Lifely brands
  • Develop social-first concepts, scripts, copy, carousels, graphics, short-form videos, and platform-ready edits
  • Keep the content calendar ahead of schedule, publish consistently, manage communities, and identify content gaps with practical solutions
  • Own photoshoots from planning through delivery, including mood boards, styling, props, products, briefs, talent and location scouting, budgets, on-set coordination, feedback, and final assets
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with key insights, recommended actions, and testing opportunities
  • Apply audience data, trend research, competitor activity, and AI tools to strengthen concepts, briefs, workflows, and content output
  • Coordinate with Product and Operations on samples, inventory, and delivery dates, and work with agencies, creators, and partner brands to meet deliverables
  • Review every post for brand alignment, accuracy, grammar, formatting, claims, and platform compliance
  • Set up the content calendar, production tracker, reporting cadence, ownership structure, and deadlines
  • Deliver approved content and production milestones by their deadlines
  • Maintain the agreed publishing cadence while improving content quality, organic engagement, and social traffic through ongoing testing and iteration

Requirements

  • At least three years of hands-on social media and content-production experience, preferably in ecommerce, consumer, home, lifestyle, or retail
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong short-form video, social copy, visual content, and campaign execution
  • Experience leading shoots and coordinating agencies, creators, talent, locations, products, budgets, and deadlines
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and brand judgement skills
  • Ability to interpret performance data and turn findings into actionable recommendations
  • Dependable project ownership, urgency, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving
  • Practical experience with AI tools and the judgement to use them to enhance, not replace, the work
  • Experience supporting multiple ecommerce or consumer-product brands
  • Background in furniture, home, family, lifestyle, retail, or direct-to-consumer businesses
  • Hands-on experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, Planable, Sprout Social, or comparable platforms
  • Experience with creators, influencers, or brand partnerships

Benefits

  • Full-time hybrid position based in Melbourne, with attendance required for scheduled shoot and production days
  • Annual base salary of AUD 90,000 to 105,000 plus superannuation
  • Ownership of social and content delivery across multiple growing ecommerce brands
  • Close collaboration with Brand, Ecommerce, Product, Supply, and Operations teams
  • Opportunity to shape the content system, production cadence, and creative testing process
