Senior WMS Consultant at Fulfillment IQ

Lead warehouse management system implementations and optimization projects for Fulfillment IQ’s supply chain clients. Configure WMS platforms, integrations, SQL databases, and go-live solutions.

Description

  • Own WMS implementation and configuration projects from planning through completion
  • Evaluate business, functional, and integration needs to shape practical WMS solutions
  • Configure essential WMS functions covering inbound, outbound, inventory, returns, picking, and shipping
  • Work with client and internal teams to create custom logic through configuration and extensibility tools
  • Assist with API validation using tools including Postman
  • Coordinate WMS integrations with ERP, OMS, TMS, and material-handling or automation systems
  • Create, assess, improve, and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures for relational databases
  • Investigate root causes, debug issues, and tune performance across queries, procedures, indexes, and execution plans
  • Work with clients and stakeholders through SIT, UAT, launch, and post-launch activities
  • Diagnose production incidents and address functional and technical issues within established SLAs
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies and ongoing process improvement efforts
  • Keep technical designs, test plans, runbooks, and configuration documentation current
  • Travel as much as 50% when required by customers
  • Coach junior colleagues and contribute to strategic WMS rollouts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Three to five years of experience delivering WMS implementations or supply chain execution systems
  • Strong techno-functional experience with at least one WMS platform
  • Thorough knowledge of warehouse processes such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and returns
  • Advanced SQL capability, including stored procedure design, complex query development, indexing, and performance tuning in relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL
  • Experience with API testing tools and integrations across ERP, OMS, TMS, and material-handling systems
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug issues across application, integration, and data layers
  • Strong communication, documentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
  • Experience connecting WMS platforms with Goods-to-Person, AS/RS, or other automation technologies is preferred
  • Familiarity with OMS, TMS, or EDI messaging standards is preferred
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments is preferred
