Description

  • Lead software development for material handling systems, from design through deployment.
  • Build scalable, high-performance solutions that integrate with WCS, WIS, and WMS.
  • Work with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and software roadmaps.
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Review code and promote sound software development practices.
  • Troubleshoot and improve applications to strengthen reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Keep architecture diagrams, user guides, and technical specifications up to date.
  • Track emerging technologies and industry developments to support innovation.
  • Help shape software solutions for automation and material handling.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Bring at least 10 years of professional software development experience.
  • Have strong command of C, C++, and JavaScript in Linux (RHEL) server environments.
  • Understand software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.
  • Have experience working with Agile and Scrum methods.
  • Be proficient with Git.
  • Have a strong foundation in database design and management, especially Oracle and PostgreSQL.
  • Know AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Apply strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and conversation.
  • Preferred: experience in industrial automation, supply chain, or material handling.
  • Preferred: experience with WMS, WIS, or WCS and real-time system integration.
  • Preferred: frontend development experience with Qt or Angular.
  • Preferred: familiarity with cybersecurity practices in software development.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead technical projects from initial concept through deployment.
