Description

  • Move into client projects after a focused onboarding period
  • Build high-end software for established market leaders and global companies
  • Advise stakeholders at C-level and architecture level
  • Lead consulting activities while contributing code from initial client engagement through project delivery
  • Help clients align forward-looking technology choices with commercial sustainability
  • Design modern technologies and scalable architectures using proven engineering practices
  • Choose and justify the most effective technical solutions independently
  • Share expertise with internal open-source and engineering teams

Requirements

  • At least five years of verifiable professional Rust development experience
  • Expert command of memory management and concurrent programming
  • Professional experience delivering consulting services to clients
  • Ability to organize complex subjects and present them clearly to groups
  • Strong technical capability paired with excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to provide a Rust code sample or project references
  • Fluent German and English for technical conversations and collaboration with teams and clients
  • Availability for occasional client-site travel, averaging once per quarter
  • Availability for full-time work
  • Working knowledge or experience with Rust, Go, TypeScript, Python, C++, C#/.NET, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CouchDB, MQTT, React, Vue.js, Svelte, Ruby on Rails, Docker, Kubernetes, BalenaOS, NixOS, Grafana, Prometheus, GitLab CI, GitLab Actions, AWS, and Azure
