Description
- Work with AWS infrastructure and cloud services
- Use caching, queues, batch processing, and other optimization techniques
- Write clean, testable, maintainable code with strong automated test coverage
- Investigate and resolve complex technical and performance issues
- Collaborate with the Solution Architect, AQA, Manual QA, and Front-end engineers
- Design for performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability
- Build to meet product needs while avoiding over-engineering
- Balance cost, performance, and development effort in technical decisions
- Challenge unnecessary complexity and find practical solutions
- Work in a lean, fast-moving environment where requirements continue to evolve
Requirements
- Bring at least five years of commercial experience with Python and modern Python frameworks
- Design and develop robust, scalable backend services and APIs
- Build efficient systems for large-scale data processing, transformation, and aggregation
- Apply strong SQL and relational database knowledge, including query optimization and data modeling
- Work with REST APIs, service integration, and asynchronous or background processing
- Understand software architecture and engineering principles beyond individual frameworks
- Analyze technical problems and select suitable solutions
- Work confidently with complex data models and business logic
- Prioritize performance and efficiency, especially when processing large datasets
- Understand trade-offs among simplicity, scalability, and maintainability
