Senior .NET Backend Engineer – Finance

Description
- Help an Agile team expand a leading FinTech software platform
- Enhance existing products and support quarterly development initiatives
- Develop and deploy software on Microsoft Azure
- Use Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, Azure API Gateway, SQL Server, Angular, and related technologies
- Create APIs and microservices
- Develop automated unit and integration tests
- Improve SQL queries and overall application performance
- Design solutions with microservices, distributed systems, and asynchronous or event-driven communication
- Deliver well-structured, testable, production-ready code independently
- Contribute to peer code reviews
- Work effectively with distributed remote teams
Requirements
- At least six years of professional software engineering experience
- Advanced practical experience with C# and .NET Core for API and microservice development
- Strong knowledge of SOLID principles, dependency injection, inversion of control, and maintainable code design
- Proficiency in automated unit and integration testing
- Strong SQL and Entity Framework or EF Core experience, including query tuning and performance optimization
- Practical experience with microservices, distributed systems, and asynchronous or event-driven communication
- Cloud application development experience, ideally with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and current software development practices
- Ability to independently produce well-designed, testable, production-ready code and contribute to code reviews
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with remote, distributed teams
- Fluent English and residence in Latin America (LATAM) required.
