Senior Lead Data and AI Engineer, Palantir Foundry
Lead development of Palantir Foundry pipelines, ontology applications, and LLM workflows. Take agentic AI solutions from prototype through production for global clients.
Description
- Develop and maintain Foundry data pipelines, ontology components, and applications.
- Create semantic and context layers using Palantir ontology objects, links, actions, interfaces, and property sets.
- Build LLM workflows with AIP Logic, AIP Automate, and AIP Assist.
- Build, test, deploy, and monitor agentic AI use cases from prototype to production.
- Lead Palantir work on the team while contributing hands-on.
- Shape solution designs, review code, coach engineers, and clear technical blockers.
- Take ownership of the technical delivery of assigned solutions.
- Turn business needs into implementation plans and guide solutions through production deployment.
- Lead technical conversations with client stakeholders.
- Communicate design choices, trade-offs, dependencies, and delivery risks.
Requirements
- Practical Palantir Foundry and/or AIP experience on client or production projects.
- Experience developing agentic or generative AI applications is strongly preferred.
- Strong software engineering and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience connecting AI to enterprise data sources, APIs, and business systems.
- A solid data engineering background covering structured and unstructured data.
- Comfort working in rapid delivery cycles as requirements evolve.
- Strong English and clear communication with technical and business audiences.
- Availability during EST business hours.
- Experience deploying solutions using Palantir Ontology Linter, Data Lineage, CBAC, and Foundry Marketplace.
- Experience with semantic layers, ontologies, or knowledge graphs.
- Experience with Azure, Azure AI Foundry, or Databricks / Genie.
- Experience with CI/CD using GitHub and DevOps / DevSecOps tools.
- Experience deploying models from OpenAI, Anthropic, or other LLM providers, including model selection and cost optimization.
- Experience creating reusable agent skills, tools, or components for multiple use cases.
