Senior Java Development Architect (Remote, Spain)
Design and evolve Java microservices and cloud architectures at knowmad mood. Help drive GitHub Copilot adoption and modernize technology across digital solutions.
Description
- Design and evolve software architectures built on microservices
- Define functional requirements and integration, data, and component architectures
- Work with business stakeholders and functional teams
- Partner with multidisciplinary development, QA, DevOps, and functional analysis teams using Agile methods
- Advance the adoption and development of AI tools for software engineering, especially GitHub Copilot
- Help define and continually improve technology solutions in a changing digital ecosystem
Requirements
- At least five years of experience with Java 8 and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud
- Experience with distributed microservices architectures
- Strong knowledge of messaging with Kafka and eventual consistency
- Experience with data-oriented architectures and real-time stream processing
- Knowledge of cloud-native environments and hybrid deployments on Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience defining functional requirements, analyzing needs, and designing solutions
- Ability to work directly with business teams and stakeholders
- Experience in eCommerce or retail projects is an advantage
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot are an advantage
- Experience with AI tools for software development, such as Claude Code, is an advantage
- Experience leading technology modernization and adoption of new tools is an advantage
