Description

  • Develop robust, scalable, reusable Go code to meet product requirements.
  • Write unit tests and partner with QA to maintain code quality.
  • Review code and help teammates resolve technical challenges.
  • Investigate and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Contribute to discussions about requirements and implementation.
  • Maintain reliable product operations with monitoring, alerts, and metrics.
  • Build applications for isolated infrastructure and follow security standards.
  • Develop backend systems and tackle complex fintech algorithm problems.
  • Explain technical direction and product goals clearly to the team.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing across the team.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years using Go as a primary language and 5 years of overall software development experience.
  • Experience with messaging queues such as Kafka, NSQ, NATS, or RabbitMQ.
  • Comfort working with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • A solid grasp of CI/CD, including tools such as ArgoCD and GitLab.
  • Experience with MySQL or a comparable database.
  • Knowledge of engineering practices such as unit testing, code review, and design documentation.
  • Experience working with Scrum.
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Opsgenie.
  • Ability to evaluate technical skills and knowledge through code reviews and peer assessments.
  • Experience training and onboarding engineers.
  • Experience mentoring junior and mid-level developers.
  • Understanding of the cryptocurrency industry.
  • Willingness to participate in interviews.
