Senior Full-Stack Developer, Remote in the Philippines

Build and ship AI-prototyped SaaS products across Plan Left’s portfolio, owning development from prototypes through production and mobile releases. Work across React, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, and testing, with scope to grow into technical leadership.

Description

  • Build and maintain production applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • Turn AI-generated product prototypes into production software.
  • Validate work through automated and web tests, as well as on iOS and Android devices.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to prototype and verify features quickly.
  • Move products from starter platforms to proprietary codebases and AWS infrastructure when their needs outgrow those platforms.
  • Review code, investigate build bottlenecks, and make targeted overrides or improvements.
  • Set standards for clean, type-safe, scalable code.
  • Develop against product specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Spot gaps in specifications and recommend solutions.
  • Coordinate App Store and Google Play submissions, review responses, and release schedules.
  • Help the digital marketing agency manage AWS accounts, hosting, access, software costs, and technical client work.
  • Establish the technical foundation for new products as their first developer.
  • Develop toward technical leadership by mentoring, reviewing code, and helping shape the team.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
  • Expertise in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Supabase or PostgreSQL.
  • Ability to audit developers’ work and uphold structural code quality.
  • Ability to manage time and priorities independently.
  • Practical experience with AI code-generation or agentic tools such as Lovable, Cursor, Windsurf, or v0.
  • Strong UI/UX awareness and product intuition.
  • Ability to spot product gaps and proactively recommend solutions.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating with international startup teams and founders.
  • Testing skills, including reproducing bugs.
  • Experience with React Native, Capacitor, or another cross-platform mobile technology.
  • Experience taking products from AI app builders into production codebases.
  • AWS experience.
  • Experience guiding mobile apps through App Store and Google Play review.
  • Experience in SaaS or marketing technology products.
  • Familiarity with analytics, tag management, and CRM integrations.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is required.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years managing remote software engineering teams, running agile sprints, and leading hiring or team-building efforts.
  • Preferred: experience training developers and leading code reviews.
  • Preferred: experience as a fractional CTO, agency tech lead, or startup technical founder.
  • Preferred: a strong background in marketing and sales.
