Description

  • Develop advanced SQL queries, joins, CTEs, views, stored procedures, and Snowflake transformations
  • Use Snowflake Cortex AI Functions to create AI-powered processing and analytics solutions
  • Manage structured and unstructured data through efficient Snowflake ingestion, transformation, and administration
  • Conduct data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting to protect data integrity and reliability
  • Tune SQL queries and Snowflake workloads to improve performance and control costs
  • Help deliver Generative AI applications for summarization, classification, information extraction, and semantic search
  • Partner with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose Snowflake solutions

Requirements

  • Bring 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake engineering and advanced SQL development
  • Demonstrate advanced SQL proficiency across joins, CTEs, views, and stored procedures
  • Understand Snowflake architecture and core data warehousing principles
  • Have experience using Snowflake Cortex AI Functions
  • Apply data transformation techniques within Snowflake
  • Work effectively with both structured and unstructured Snowflake data
  • Experience with Snowflake-based Generative AI use cases, such as semantic search or information extraction, is preferred
  • Familiarity with Snowflake workload optimization for analytics is preferred
  • Knowledge of cloud data platform security and governance is preferred
  • Snowflake or cloud data engineering certification is preferred
  • Hold or pursue a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification is desired
  • A relevant SQL certification, such as Microsoft Certified: SQL Database Specialist, is desired
