Description
- Partner with business teams to define meaningful KPIs, uncover the questions behind business needs, and turn challenges into useful analytical solutions.
- Create and manage UX-focused Power BI views that communicate clear narratives, actionable insights, and guidance for tactical and strategic decisions.
- Work independently across the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Data Lake layers to find valuable answers in large-scale data environments.
- Drive the evaluation of AI opportunities using Data Lake data, including the proposal, testing, and validation of AI MVPs and advanced or predictive analytics.
- Build efficient, maintainable data models designed to scale query performance as the business expands.
- Automate data-refresh processes and uphold data quality to maintain a trusted single source of truth for leadership.
Requirements
- Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, clarify the underlying business need before designing solutions, and convert complex problems into understandable metrics.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in DAX, BigQuery, and user experience-oriented design.
- Write and optimize complex SQL, including joins, query tuning, and structural data transformations.
- Bring practical experience with ETL processes in modern architectures, cloud storage, and data formats such as Parquet, CSV, and JSON.
- Experience supporting strategic Sales, Marketing, Product, or Finance teams with actionable insights is advantageous.
