Description

  • Build trusted customer relationships while solving complex technical challenges
  • Explain Red Hat cloud solutions in the context of customer infrastructure and business requirements
  • Partner with customers on architecture, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for Red Hat cloud and container platforms
  • Evaluate, design, and implement OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Automation Platform, RHEL, ODF, and Kubernetes-based solutions
  • Deliver automated, containerized platforms for cloud applications
  • Resolve infrastructure challenges involving networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, high availability, and resilience
  • Develop expertise in container orchestration, registries, image-building strategies, cloud storage, and software-defined networking
  • Act as an on-site subject matter expert for customers’ technical, development, and strategic IT requirements
  • Oversee issue analysis, architecture definition, software design and specifications, testing, and deployment for complex open source solutions
  • Adjust solutions and delivery approaches as customer needs evolve
  • Handle incidents, escalations, and exceptions with professionalism
  • Provide timely, in-scope deliverables during and after engagements, including project journals, status updates, and standard documentation
  • Support sales and proposal presentations as well as ongoing account-team activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or an MBA
  • At least 5 years of Linux systems administration experience, preferably with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or a derivative
  • At least 4 years of experience with Kubernetes, AKS, GKS, EKS, Docker, Podman, or other container and PaaS technologies
  • At least 3 years of scripting or programming experience
  • Knowledge of systems management, including installation, custom channels, virtualized-system deployment, basic client security, repositories, and core-build creation
  • Strong technical capability
  • Effective communication and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Automation Platform, and other Red Hat products is a plus
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle methods, including Agile such as Scrum, Waterfall, and Incremental approaches, is a plus
  • An Agile and DevOps mindset, with willingness to study and apply Agile practices
  • Red Hat certifications are a plus
  • Spanish fluency is a plus
