Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain the backend microservices behind Torre de Control.
  • Define new features from both technical and product perspectives.
  • Investigate problems, refine scope, propose solutions, and own the outcomes.
  • Partner with product, frontend, and QA teams to deliver features end to end.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Contribute to code reviews and architecture decisions.
  • Provide technical support and resolve incidents for services you own.
  • Take part in the team’s on-call rotation.
  • Remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Improve service performance, scalability, and architecture.

Requirements

  • At least five years of backend development experience, primarily with Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Recent experience working at a startup or product scale-up.
  • Experience balancing roadmap work with support and incident response.
  • Product experience defining what to build and why.
  • Experience owning production microservices and participating in on-call rotations.
  • Production experience with AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, ECS, or DynamoDB.
  • Experience integrating messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or SQS.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases, including options such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
  • Knowledge of design patterns, unit and integration testing, SOLID principles, and clean code.
  • English proficiency at B2–C1 level or higher.
