Senior Animator - Aristocrat, Hybrid North Ryde
Create 2D art, UI elements, and animations for Aristocrat’s poker machine games in a collaborative Sydney-area game-art team. Shape concepts and visual storytelling through iterative builds, feedback, and creative development.
Description
- Create and assemble 2D artwork and animations for poker machine games
- Develop concepts, finished artwork, and user interface elements
- Work across varied visual styles while preserving originality and entertainment value
- Partner with the team to refine builds through feedback and iteration
- Deliver animations that have strong impact and support the wider game experience
- Use Photoshop and After Effects to create polished game artwork
- Participate in brainstorming and creative work for distinctive game visuals
- Track industry developments to help advance animation quality
Requirements
- Advanced working knowledge of Photoshop
- Working knowledge of After Effects
- Comfort receiving feedback and contributing to an iterative build process
- Knowledge of 3D production pipelines is advantageous
- Experience creating 3D animation is advantageous
- Familiarity with Maya or Blender is advantageous
- Understanding of Unity is advantageous
- Curiosity about emerging AI tools and a willingness to apply them to animation workflows, creative ideation, and production efficiency
