Description
- Arrange and track shipments with carriers and couriers
- Prepare shipping and customs documentation
- Share delivery updates with customers and suppliers
- Handle shipment delays, damage and missed deliveries
- Keep shipment records and prepare weekly reports
- Manage goods movement for a UK business from dispatch through delivery
- Keep customers and suppliers updated throughout the delivery process
Requirements
- Background in logistics, shipping or supply chain coordination
- Experience using a tracking or order management system, such as ShipStation
- Strong written English and careful attention to detail
- Ability to resolve issues with carriers
- Reliable laptop and stable fibre internet connection
- Familiarity with UK courier services
- Knowledge of customs and import documentation
- Experience tracking information in Excel or Google Sheets
