Remote CFD Engineer and AI Trainer
Apply CFD expertise to train and evaluate AI agents on fluid simulation tasks. Build verified solutions and Python checks for a global technology platform.
Description
- Train and assess AI agents on advanced fluid simulation tasks
- Set up and run simulations using CAD geometry
- Develop verified reference solutions
- Write Python checks to assess AI agent results
- Complete project work estimated at 10–20 hours per week during active phases
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field such as energy or oil and gas; a PhD is preferred but not required
- Several years of practical CFD experience in industry or research using OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent or CFX, or STAR-CCM+, including meshing
- Strong verification and validation practice, including mesh-independence studies and validation against experiments or benchmarks
- Proficiency with Python and GitHub
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Aerospace, automotive, offshore, or turbomachinery experience is an advantage
- Experience with multiphase or particle-laden flows is an advantage
