Python

Description

  • Train and assess AI agents on advanced fluid simulation tasks
  • Set up and run simulations using CAD geometry
  • Develop verified reference solutions
  • Write Python checks to assess AI agent results
  • Complete project work estimated at 10–20 hours per week during active phases

Requirements

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field such as energy or oil and gas; a PhD is preferred but not required
  • Several years of practical CFD experience in industry or research using OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent or CFX, or STAR-CCM+, including meshing
  • Strong verification and validation practice, including mesh-independence studies and validation against experiments or benchmarks
  • Proficiency with Python and GitHub
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
  • Aerospace, automotive, offshore, or turbomachinery experience is an advantage
  • Experience with multiphase or particle-laden flows is an advantage
