Remote Accounts Payable Clerk in South Africa

Description

  • Record and code supplier invoices
  • Match invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Prepare payment runs for approval
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Respond to supplier enquiries
  • Manage supplier invoices for a UK business from receipt through payment
  • Ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time

Requirements

  • Experience in accounts payable or creditor management
  • Practical experience using Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
  • Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Accuracy and close attention to detail
  • Availability to work 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)
  • Knowledge of UK VAT is an advantage
  • Experience with Dext or Hubdoc is an advantage
  • Experience handling expense claims
