Description

  • Oversee project plans, schedules, and deadlines for financial statements, audits, and corporate tax filings
  • Coordinate auditors, tax advisors, internal accounting teams, external accountants, and tax specialists
  • Manage technical reviews, approvals, document control, and signature processes
  • Negotiate advisor and auditor fees and monitor them against AOP
  • Review advisor engagement letters and contribute to audit meetings
  • Track outstanding matters and drive issue resolution
  • Maintain project trackers and database records
  • Reconcile US GAAP accounting records with local GAAP records
  • Reconcile local GAAP profit with taxable profit
  • Address audit and tax information requests
  • Develop supporting schedules and financial analyses
  • Review financial statements, tax calculations, tax returns, and legal documents
  • Prepare indirect tax compliance filings, including VAT returns, along with other local tax and financial or statistical returns
  • Partner with the legal department on company secretarial compliance
  • Assist treasury activities involving dividends and global cash management
  • Support tax investigations and tax audits
  • Produce ad hoc reports, interim accounts, and statistical analyses

Requirements

  • Take initiative, stay organized, and apply strong technical skills
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple countries
  • Manage, coordinate, and prioritize competing tasks and deadlines
  • Adapt effectively to a fast-paced, highly dynamic work environment
  • Bring at least three years of directly relevant experience or an accounting qualification equivalent to CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
  • Understand US GAAP and local GAAP accounting topics
  • Understand the application of accounting principles within a complex ERP environment
  • Experience with cloud applications such as Oracle ERP and Workday is advantageous
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant academic or vocational qualifications
  • Demonstrate strong technical accounting expertise
  • Apply excellent organizational skills
  • Show an interest in financial accounting
  • Maintain careful attention to detail while handling multiple tasks
  • Use sound problem-solving skills
  • Work independently and manage time across concurrent projects
  • Work effectively with ambiguity and complexity
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English
