Description

  • Manage Jerry’s official Reddit presence across branded subreddits and relevant automotive, finance, and consumer communities.
  • Define Jerry’s voice on Reddit and develop its community playbook.
  • Write posts, in-depth guides, and visual explainers about car ownership, insurance savings, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Handle reputation management and crisis responses in discussions about Jerry.
  • Monitor karma, sentiment, share of voice, referral traffic, search visibility, and citations in large language models.
  • Share Reddit insights, car-owner concerns, and emerging topics with Product and Content teams.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience managing organic social media or community strategy, with a strong focus on Reddit.
  • Experience in consumer technology, fintech, or insurtech is preferred; a proven record of growing other kinds of social accounts is also relevant.
  • Strong knowledge of Reddit karma, subreddit culture, automoderation, shadowbans, and platform conventions.
  • Ability to write naturally for Reddit users without corporate jargon.
  • Understanding of how Reddit content appears in Google Search Generative Experience, large language models, and organic search.
  • Able to respond to skepticism, challenging questions, and criticism with honesty, humor, and tact.
  • Must currently live in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Ontario, Canada.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
