Description

  • Guide architectural direction while connecting technical strategy to business priorities
  • Support engineering teams through complex technical decisions, trade-offs, and proven practices
  • Write production code for critical systems and codebases
  • Lead technical discussions and participate in design reviews
  • Coach and develop engineers across experience levels
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery for high-impact initiatives
  • Work with product and design partners to assess feasibility, scalability, and business fit
  • Strengthen engineering processes, tooling, standards, productivity, code quality, and system reliability
  • Promote innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous growth
  • Advance engineering practices, technology platforms, and technical excellence across the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent business and technical experience
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience
  • Expert proficiency in one or more languages such as Java, Go, or TypeScript
  • Strong command of relational and non-relational databases, data modeling, query optimization, and performance-oriented data access
  • Working knowledge of HL7 FHIR
  • Experience applying agentic AI throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Advanced Git and source-control experience
  • Ability to configure and optimize development environments and tooling
  • Extensive experience designing and integrating web services and APIs, including RESTful and event-driven architectures
  • Proficiency working in Linux environments
  • Strong experience with Agile practices and the software development lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Expertise in secure coding, performance optimization, and resilient fault-tolerant system design
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers
  • Experience shaping architectural decisions
  • Proficiency in application design and system architecture
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, systems-thinking, ownership, and collaboration skills
  • Preferred experience includes production HL7 FHIR applications, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform cloud-native systems, React or Next.js, testing frameworks, HIPAA/PHI/IIHI, and architecture diagrams
