Onsite Security Receptionist, Fort Belvoir

Description

  • Act as the customer’s main point of contact for security access.
  • Monitor and manage access at designated locations.
  • Conduct daily checks to help maintain site safety.
  • Watch for intrusion and secure doors and windows.
  • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
  • Verify and authorize the entry and departure of employees, visitors, and others.
  • Document daily activity and incidents, including damage, theft, unauthorized access, and unusual events.
  • Contact police or fire services during emergencies.
  • Support Security Management initiatives onsite.
  • Work an assigned shift between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET, with occasional extra hours to cover vacancies.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • An active Secret Clearance is preferred.
  • Must be able to work onsite five days per week.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional manner are required.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, use manual dexterity, climb stairs, speak, hear, and see.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, sit at a desk, and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to lift 15–25 pounds.
