Onsite Counselor Therapist at BrightView Health

Provide addiction therapy, group sessions, and intake assessments in an onsite BrightView Health setting. Coordinate multidisciplinary patient care, document treatment progress, and support recovery-focused programs.

Description

  • Plan and lead group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments according to clinic needs and established best practices.
  • Use crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to support patient safety and care.
  • Support the development and implementation of treatment plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate progress toward treatment plan goals.
  • Coordinate care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in required onsite staff and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Record all required treatment information accurately and promptly in the electronic patient health record.
  • Adhere to applicable regulatory standards and company compliance policies.
  • Support treatment programs that help individuals pursue recovery and wellness.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, subject to state regulations.
  • Current clinical licensure is required in accordance with applicable state regulations.
  • Ability to plan and lead group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments.
  • Working knowledge of addiction therapy.
  • Ability to apply crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
  • Ability to support treatment planning and evaluate progress toward treatment goals.
  • Ability to coordinate care within an onsite multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to document treatment information in an electronic patient health record.
  • Ability to comply with regulatory standards and company requirements.
