NetSuite SCM Engineer - Inventory, WMS and Fulfillment (Portugal Remote)
Develop and optimize NetSuite supply chain systems covering inventory, warehouse management, and fulfillment for Lime’s global micromobility operations. Integrate NetSuite with Oracle Transportation Management, Arena PLM, and Anaplan.
Description
- Deliver SCM-focused technical development using sound practices for configuration, scripting, testing, and cross-platform integration
- Configure and enhance NetSuite WMS workflows for picking, packing, shipping, wave planning, and serial or lot tracking
- Maintain and improve NetSuite inventory processes, including item receipts, item fulfillments, and landed costs
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations across NetSuite, Oracle Transportation Management, and Arena PLM
- Support Anaplan connectors that synchronize demand planning and forecasting data
- Apply SuiteFlow and SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 to automate inventory state changes, fulfillment processes, and receipt routing
- Help administer role-based access, data security, inventory reconciliation controls, and SOX-compliant configurations
- Collaborate with Enterprise Product Management, Data Platforms, Sourcing, and corporate logistics teams
- Apply coding standards that strengthen maintainability, reliability, and performance
- Contribute to code reviews, onboarding, documentation, and knowledge sharing
- Assess NetSuite’s twice-yearly releases and support impact analysis, regression testing, and optimization
- Contribute to NetSuite SDF and GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines
- Join the on-call rotation to investigate incidents and outages, conduct root cause analysis, escalate issues, restore service, and document recurring problems
- Provide occasional after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage during on-call assignments
Requirements
- At least four years of experience in ERP or application engineering
- Demonstrated hands-on ability to develop and configure solutions in complex supply chain and inventory environments
- Strong technical and functional knowledge of NetSuite Inventory, NetSuite WMS, Oracle OTM, Anaplan, and Arena PLM
- Practical experience configuring NetSuite WMS workflows and locations, including custom scripts for serial- and lot-controlled inventory
- Hands-on experience creating and supporting PLM-to-ERP data pipelines, including Arena-to-NetSuite BOM and related supply chain flows
- Strong command of the SuiteCloud platform, including SuiteScript 2.0/2.1, SuiteBuilder, SuiteTalk SOAP and REST APIs, and SuiteBundler
- Practical experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java or Python
- Experience with middleware platforms such as Celigo, Boomi, or Workato
- Strong SQL skills for reporting and data management
- Familiarity with Git-based version control and the SuiteCloud Development Framework
- Understanding of SOX, GDPR, and inventory audit controls
- Willingness to participate in a shared on-call rotation with occasional after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage
- Preferred certifications include NetSuite Certified SuiteCloud Developer, NetSuite Certified Administrator, and NetSuite Certified SuiteFoundation
- Preferred familiarity with Agile methods and DevOps practices in ERP environments
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, SOAP, REST, XML, HTML, and JSON
- Proficiency with standard SDLC processes and change-management environments
- Must live and work remotely from Portugal
- English proficiency
