Administer Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 compliance capabilities for SAIC’s secure defense and mission technology environments. Support data governance, protection, eDiscovery, and regulatory compliance in classified customer settings.

Description

  • Create, implement, and validate data governance and compliance policies covering classification, labeling, and data loss prevention.
  • Review and refine policies to support applicable regulatory obligations.
  • Deploy and configure Microsoft Purview alongside connected Microsoft 365 services.
  • Manage Purview role groups, custom roles, and access permissions.
  • Safeguard sensitive information against internal and external threats.
  • Implement information protection and insider risk management capabilities.
  • Handle data protection incidents and contribute to security investigations.
  • Support eDiscovery processes, including collection, searching, and exporting data for legal and compliance stakeholders.
  • Partner with data architects, analysts, IT and security teams, and business application owners.
  • Deliver solutions and apply data governance best practices.
  • Train users and provide support for data protection tools and policies.
  • Track Purview service health, investigate issues, and resolve performance problems.
  • Maintain effective performance and integration across connected platforms.
  • Perform recurring audits and assessments of data governance practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of progressive IT experience; four years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
  • US citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain a public trust clearance as required by the contract.
  • Practical experience administering Microsoft Purview.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance principles.
  • Experience with data loss prevention, data classification, and sensitivity labeling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 environments and related services, including Microsoft Entra ID.
  • PowerShell or similar scripting experience is a plus.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and audits.
  • Ability to develop and implement security and compliance policies.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
