Legal Reports Analyst — Remote in Brazil

Description

  • Prepare, update, and monitor legal and management reports.
  • Extract, consolidate, and process data from internal systems and control databases.
  • Maintain current information and key performance indicators on a recurring basis.
  • Review and validate data to preserve the consistency and reliability of reported information.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets for operational tracking.
  • Track workloads, productivity, deadlines, and other operational measures.
  • Investigate and resolve database inconsistencies.
  • Assist with presentations and management reporting materials.
  • Handle report requests from internal teams and clients.
  • Track reporting schedules and delivery deadlines.
  • Organize and maintain activity-monitoring databases.
  • Coordinate with responsible teams to verify and update information.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve and automate processes.

Requirements

  • Required: bachelor’s degree in Law without an active bar license.
  • Experience preparing and maintaining reports, controls, and performance indicators.
  • Experience processing, consolidating, and analyzing database information.
  • Experience using Excel and managing spreadsheets.
  • Experience in a legal setting, especially high-volume litigation operations, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of operational metrics, workload volumes, productivity, and SLA tracking.
  • Experience reviewing and validating information.
  • Familiarity with legal systems and management tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of data visualization and report automation tools is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency, including formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters, and data cleansing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Knowledge of Power BI or comparable data analysis and visualization tools is preferred.
  • Analytical approach and confidence working with numbers and information.
  • Strong organization and close attention to detail.
  • Ability to detect inconsistencies and conduct data quality checks.
  • Sound logical reasoning.
