Legal Intern - Rancho Cordova, California (Hybrid)
Join Travelers as a legal intern supporting research, discovery, and litigation drafting for a property and casualty insurer. The internship includes courtroom exposure, mentoring, and participation in legal proceedings.
Description
- Research legal issues and authorities
- Prepare discovery materials
- Draft legal briefs and motions
- Observe proceedings across multiple courts
- Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, court appearances, and trials or hearings
- Work with Travelers Staff Counsel attorneys, support staff, and business partners
- Receive mentorship and substantive feedback on assigned work
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited law school
- Be authorized to work for any U.S. employer
- Be available for a temporary 10–12-week summer internship from June 2027 through August 2027
- Plan to work 40 hours per week
