Description

  • Own the completion, review, and approval of accounts payable invoices
  • Check expense claims and confirm that all supporting documents are in order
  • Record and validate payroll journal entries
  • Ensure general expenses flow accurately into accounting and reporting systems
  • Coordinate accrued-expense campaigns with relevant internal teams
  • Prepare VAT, e-invoicing, DAS2, and other tax and social-security filings
  • Act as the treasury contact and monitor activity across bank accounts
  • Reconcile ledger accounts and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Build and interpret the payments dashboard, identifying opportunities to improve it
  • Help operational teams track overdue invoices and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Support monthly and quarterly close activities and financial-statement preparation
  • Assist with reviews, account-balance substantiation, and documentation for annual filings
  • Take part in projects that expand and improve accounting processes, tools, and scope

Requirements

  • Accounting or business administration qualification, such as a BTS, DCG, or master’s degree
  • Up to three years of experience in an accounting practice or corporate finance team
  • A sound grounding in general accounting principles
  • Confidence taking ownership of a general-expenses portfolio quickly
  • Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment
  • Effective prioritization while maintaining high-quality work
  • Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets
  • Hands-on experience using an ERP system
  • NetSuite knowledge is helpful but not essential
  • Full professional proficiency in French
  • Professional English proficiency, assessed during the application process
  • Authorization to work in France
