Java Development Architect, GitHub Copilot (Remote, Spain)
Design distributed Java architectures and cloud solutions at knowmad mood, a digital transformation company. Drive microservices, streaming, Kafka, and GitHub Copilot adoption.
Description
- Design and evolve microservices-based software architectures
- Define functional requirements and architectures for integrations, data, and components
- Engage with business teams and functional departments
- Work with cross-functional development, QA, DevOps, and functional analysis teams using Agile methods
- Promote the adoption and advancement of AI software development tools, especially GitHub Copilot
- Help define and continuously improve technology solutions in a changing digital ecosystem
Requirements
- At least five years of experience with Java 8 and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud
- Experience with distributed microservices architectures
- Strong knowledge of Kafka messaging and eventual consistency
- Experience with data-oriented architectures and real-time stream processing
- Knowledge of cloud-native environments and hybrid deployments on Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience defining functional requirements, analyzing needs, and designing solutions
- Ability to work directly with business teams and stakeholders
- Experience in eCommerce or retail projects is an advantage
- Knowledge of and hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot is an advantage
- Experience with AI tools for software development, such as Claude Code, is an advantage
- Experience leading technology modernization and adoption of new tools is an advantage
