Insurance Product Analyst

Support commercial insurance product development for ABA Insurance Services by maintaining policy materials, coordinating filings, researching the market, and advancing product initiatives.

Description

  • Help develop and improve commercial insurance products and related initiatives
  • Maintain policy forms, endorsements, applications, underwriting guidelines, and other product documents
  • Assist with regulatory filings and put approved product changes into effect
  • Research market trends, competitor products, coverage developments, and emerging risks
  • Assess product performance, rate and coverage changes, and business needs to inform product decisions
  • Coordinate product projects with underwriting, compliance, operations, and leadership teams
  • Collect research, benchmarking data, and market insights from vendors and industry partners
  • Create and maintain customer resources such as applications, checklists, forms, and supporting materials
  • Contribute to coverage and policy wording updates that improve product offerings and customer experience
  • Support multiple product management projects, tracking deliverables and keeping stakeholders informed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Typically at least three years of commercial insurance experience
  • Working knowledge of commercial property, general liability, commercial auto, umbrella, workers’ compensation, or related coverages
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Experience reviewing insurance policies, forms, endorsements, applications, or underwriting documents
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities at once
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
