Executive Materials Planning and Execution Leader, Combustion

Lead materials planning, inventory, procurement, and logistics for GE Vernova’s manufacturing operations. Coordinate schedules, capacity planning, performance metrics, and delivery execution.

Description

  • Direct the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of end-to-end materials processes
  • Manage a materials team responsible for planning, inventory, production control, and procurement
  • Align materials activities with manufacturing operations and cross-functional partners
  • Maintain standardized materials processes and KPIs that support delivery performance and low inventory cost
  • Support SIOP through material procurement timing, order releases, available capacity, and lead-time inputs
  • Lead capacity requirements planning, including loading planning-tool data, analyzing results, and issuing updates
  • Coordinate master and production schedules through ERP and planning systems
  • Ensure teams are trained in planning tools and monitor effective system usage
  • Track and report materials KPIs, including inventory balance, inventory turns, on-time-to-promise, on-time-to-need, system health, usage, and master-data adherence
  • Create metric hierarchies that keep materials activities aligned with performance expectations
  • Oversee logistics measures such as incoming receipts, days to stock, cycle-count accuracy, and shortages
  • Communicate business goals, programs, and processes across an assigned area or business segment
  • Apply experience and expertise to resolve operational problems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical discipline from an accredited university, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Background in supply chain disciplines such as production and inventory control, variable-cost productivity, fulfillment metrics, cost systems, and procedures
  • Manufacturing ERP experience with SAP PMx, Baan, or Oracle Zeal
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a drug screen when applicable
