Dutch-Speaking Community Manager

Grow Reddit’s Dutch communities through moderator development, locally tailored consumer growth initiatives, and data-informed programs. Help expand Reddit’s international presence beyond the United States.

Description

  • Understand the Dutch market to identify user and moderator needs, challenges, and growth opportunities.
  • Refine and scale Reddit’s consumer growth playbook.
  • Spot opportunities and propose ambitious programs and ideas.
  • Build internal alignment around new plans.
  • Develop strategies to recruit, train, and grow a local moderator community.
  • Create a conversion funnel that brings power users and external creators into active moderator roles.
  • Share quantitative and qualitative findings to improve Reddit’s international consumer growth approach.
  • Analyze data, define KPIs, and deliver effective community initiatives.
  • Use data to surface community and moderator insights for the local market team.
  • Partner across Product, Community, Engineering, Marketing, Safety, and Business Development.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in community development, project management, growth, operations, or product consulting.
  • A record of community-led projects that produced business impact.
  • In-depth knowledge of Dutch culture, including current affairs, politics, customs, traditions, language, interests, and taboos.
  • Strong understanding of the Dutch digital landscape and internet culture.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams, local users, moderators, partners, creators, and influencers.
  • Strong delivery skills and careful attention to detail.
  • Ability and interest in developing and leading projects, framing problems, finding solutions, testing hypotheses, and improving processes.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
  • Must be based in the Netherlands.
