Description
- Manage a portfolio of debt recovery and enforcement cases
- Assess settlement agreements, judgments, Court Orders, and costs schedules to confirm sums owed and payment compliance
- Track payment deadlines and act quickly on overdue amounts
- Draft and issue letters before action and formal demands
- Manage recovery of legal damages, costs, and disbursements
- Negotiate related legal fees and expenses
- Issue Part 8 Proceedings and submit enforcement applications
- Prepare N260 schedules
- Coordinate with clients, Defendants, Courts, external enforcement agents, and other third parties
- Meet required deadlines
Requirements
- Practical experience in debt recovery, civil litigation, costs recovery, and enforcement
- Strong understanding of County Court procedures and civil litigation
- Experience pursuing unpaid judgments, damages, and costs
- Highly capable legal drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong organisation and time-management abilities
- Commercial, pragmatic approach to recovery work
- Experience using a Case Management System
