Data Reporting Analyst – Navy Readiness (Onsite, Norfolk)

Support FTI’s U.S. Navy equipment-readiness and integration work through reporting, dashboards, cost analysis, and decision-support products. This full-time role is performed onsite in Norfolk, Virginia.

Description

  • Support equipment-readiness and integration activities for the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command project
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on enterprise equipment Configuration Data Management Systems
  • Use Jupiter in the Advana platform to integrate and apply naval data across readiness pillars
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and datasets for internal and external collaboration
  • Consolidate data sources, then clean, transform, model, visualize, and report the results
  • Gather data, perform analytical reviews, and recommend improvements to Equipment Readiness policies
  • Help define software-development requirements for readiness reporting and cost models
  • Evaluate raw data to produce historical trends, reports, graphical presentations, and recommendations
  • Conduct quantitative analyses of financial, materiel-inventory, and materiel-assessment data
  • Apply mathematical and statistical methods to assess materiel solutions that improve combat power and readiness
  • Prepare force-wide economic analyses of materiel asset requirements, including Table of Allowance inventory
  • Research historical maintenance, replacement, and technical-refresh costs
  • Assess current resource utilization and forecast future materiel resource requirements
  • Conduct recurring and ongoing cost studies
  • Support procurement planning and program objectives by assessing cost-readiness tradeoffs and budget constraints
  • Complete special assignments supporting materiel-readiness strategy, cross-functional initiatives, and force-readiness improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, an equivalent graduate degree, or four full years of progressively advanced graduate education leading to such a degree
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • An active Secret Department of Defense clearance is required
  • Ability to work onsite at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek in Virginia
  • Experience using Jupiter within the Advana platform
  • Experience integrating and applying naval data across readiness pillars
  • Ability to develop reports, dashboards, and datasets
  • Ability to consolidate data sources and perform data cleaning, transformation, and modeling
  • Ability to conduct quantitative analyses of financial, materiel-inventory, and materiel-assessment data
  • Knowledge of mathematical and statistical methods
  • Ability to perform economic, cost, readiness, and resource-utilization analyses
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense systems and equipment Configuration Data Management Systems
