Data Engineer (Hybrid, Ukraine)
Build data pipelines and integrations for HOLYWATER’s AI-powered streaming, books, and storytelling products. Improve data reliability, transformation workflows, and infrastructure efficiency.
Description
- Develop new data pipelines, models, and features
- Connect new data sources and build integrations
- Work with data warehouses and large-scale data transformations
- Improve pipeline reliability while investigating incidents and their root causes
- Optimize infrastructure costs
- Use AI as part of everyday development
- Strengthen a growing Data Engineering team as it evolves with new products and challenges
Requirements
- Python, SQL, and dbt experience
- Experience with analytical databases such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or comparable platforms
- Practical experience building data warehouses and data transformation pipelines
- Experience creating extraction pipelines using APIs, webhooks, and GraphQL
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code
- Active use of AI in software development
