Data Analyst, Supply Chain Risk Management

Support PingWind’s federal supply chain risk management program through mitigation analysis, data-quality initiatives, and decision-support products for government stakeholders.

Description

  • Support Blue Team mitigation activities within the supply chain risk management program.
  • Map program supply chains using proprietary data and information provided by government program offices.
  • Deliver recurring decision-support products for supply chain risk mitigation across assigned programs.
  • Analyze alternate sourcing pathways for parts, materials, and suppliers identified as at risk.
  • Create mitigation action plans with defined timelines, owners, and measurable closure criteria.
  • Run data-quality validation processes on supply chain datasets and identify anomalies and information gaps.
  • Build and maintain data-quality scorecards with confidence ratings and recommended remediation actions.
  • Assist with Course of Action development for mitigation scenarios, including cost-benefit and schedule analysis.
  • Monitor and record mitigation action closure across assigned programs through maintained status logs.
  • Prepare content for control tower meetings and executive readouts.
  • Work with Government POCs to clarify data and support supplier qualification and sourcing activities.
  • Contribute to recurring Blue Team reports, quarterly summaries, and annual assessment deliverables.
  • Assist with onboarding and enriching data for new programs and sources.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures and help onboard new analysts.
  • Collaborate within a four-analyst team under the direction of PingWind’s Director of Operations & Implementation.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI eligibility is required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • At least three years of experience in data analysis, supply chain analysis, defense logistics, or intelligence analysis.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, Python/pandas, SQL, Snowflake, or equivalent technologies.
  • Experience creating analytical products, reports, or briefing materials for government stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of supply chain concepts, including mitigation strategies, supplier development, sourcing analysis, or entity relationships.
  • Strong written communication, attention to detail, and analytical deliverable skills.
  • Ability to meet production deadlines, work collaboratively, and maintain quality standards at volume.
  • Experience with defense supply chain, logistics, or acquisition programs.
  • Familiarity with CAGE codes, NSNs, or defense parts data taxonomies.
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience with entity resolution, master data management, or data governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with program management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
