Critical Software Development Engineer
Develop SIL4 railway signalling software for Groupe LR Technologies, using Ada and C/C++ on embedded systems. Work to EN 50128 standards with ARM and ColdFire processors.
Description
- Analyze requirements and prepare high- and low-level software specifications.
- Design and build software components in Ada and C/C++.
- Carry out unit and integration tests.
- Maintain requirements traceability and software documentation under EN 50128.
- Take part in software design and code reviews.
- Contribute to verification and validation work.
- Develop SIL4 safety-critical embedded software for railway signalling and other critical systems.
- Collaborate with the project team on ARM and ColdFire embedded processors.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in computer science or embedded systems.
- Demonstrated experience developing critical software, ideally to EN 50128 (SIL4) or DO-178C (DAL A).
- Proficiency in Ada and/or C/C++.
- Strong understanding of V-model development, including requirements, traceability, and reviews.
- Technical English proficiency.
- Knowledge of ERTMS, SCADE, DOORS, or ColdFire/ARM architectures is an advantage.
- A rigorous, methodical working style.
- Availability to start in early November.
