Contract Manager, Solar PV & BESS – Ingeteam (Hybrid, Spain)
Lead global contract management for Ingeteam’s Solar PV and BESS business, covering negotiation, risk mitigation, and process improvement. The role partners with cross-functional teams and strategic customers to protect commercial interests and support balanced agreements.
Description
- Lead global contract management for the Solar PV and BESS business unit
- Review customer contracts worldwide, covering scope, milestones, payments, penalties, deliveries, warranties, variations, and termination
- Coordinate contract reviews with Legal, Sales, Finance, Tax, Insurance, and Compliance
- Identify contractual risks and recommend alternatives that safeguard business interests
- Ensure alignment among contracts, internal policies, commercial procedures, and corporate strategy
- Assess the legal, financial, operational, technical, and commercial risks associated with each contract
- Join negotiation meetings with strategic customers and executive teams
- Develop negotiation strategies, opening positions, commercial arguments, and contractual alternatives
- Pursue balanced solutions that close commercial agreements without unnecessarily weakening the company’s position
- Identify contractual events requiring formal notice, including delays, variations, and force majeure
- Standardize templates and help improve internal contract management procedures
Requirements
- Degree or double degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least five years of experience managing and negotiating contracts, preferably in industrial, technology, energy, or infrastructure environments
- Advanced English proficiency at C1 level or above is required
- Experience in photovoltaics, solar energy, power electronics, energy storage, or electrical equipment is an advantage
- Willingness to travel occasionally
