Description

  • Design and support cloud integration and data transmission solutions with AWS services and current engineering practices.
  • Maintain secure, dependable data exchange for external partners and internal business applications.
  • Investigate complex integration, transmission, and platform problems, and communicate risks, recommendations, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Build infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation to improve consistent deployments, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Replace legacy managed file transfer and batch solutions with cloud-native, API-driven, event-based, and serverless integration patterns.
  • Work with application, security, network, and business teams to establish and deliver integration architectures.
  • Meet security, risk, compliance, monitoring, authentication, and encryption requirements.
  • Contribute to architecture reviews, technical standards, documentation, runbooks, and engineering practices.
  • Support production services, including through on-call rotations, to preserve the availability and stability of critical systems.
  • Offer technical guidance through design and code reviews, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.
  • Take part in special projects and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in cloud or integration engineering, data transmission services, or a related technology role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience designing, building, and supporting cloud solutions on AWS and/or Azure.
  • Experience developing or supporting REST APIs and event-driven integrations.
  • Experience with Python, Shell, Java, or SQL.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code.
  • Knowledge of operational support, incident management, and service restoration processes.
  • Experience with Axway B2Bi, Sterling Connect:Direct, AWS Transfer Family, or comparable managed file transfer platforms.
  • Experience working with mainframe technologies.
  • Experience moving legacy managed file transfer or batch integrations to cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience in regulated or security-sensitive settings, including financial services.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and ServiceNow or similar service management platforms.
  • Experience with cloud observability tools for logs, metrics, and tracing.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule with three office days each week.
  • Availability for an on-call rotation that includes off-hours coverage.
