Description
- Manage relationships with existing commercial insurance clients
- Review policies to confirm suitable coverage and regulatory compliance
- Process policy changes, renewals, and endorsements
- Assess client risks and recommend risk management measures
- Coordinate policy placement with underwriters and insurance carriers
- Respond to client questions and resolve coverage concerns
- Track compliance with DOT regulations and insurance requirements
- Prepare certificates, policy summaries, and other insurance documentation
- Create and execute strategies to retain clients
- Keep client records and documentation accurate in the CRM system
Requirements
- Hold an active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license
- Bring 3–5 years of commercial insurance experience focused on trucking or transportation
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of commercial trucking insurance products and coverage
- Understand DOT regulations and transportation compliance requirements
- Know how to manage insurance policies and conduct risk assessments
- Have experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office
- Provide strong account management and client service
- Apply sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Work with close attention to detail and strong organizational discipline
