Represent clients in California civil disputes involving community associations, property, and contracts. Draft litigation filings, support settlements and trials, and keep clients informed in a remote role.
Description
- Develop litigation strategies to advance civil disputes toward resolution
- Draft pleadings and motions, manage discovery, and conduct legal research
- Represent clients in disputes involving community associations, property, and contracts
- Assist with settlement negotiations and prepare cases for hearings or trial as needed
- Provide clients with updates on their matters
- Attend occasional evening meetings
Requirements
- At least three years of civil litigation experience
- Active license to practice law in California
- Must reside in California
- Strong legal writing, research, organizational, and client communication abilities
- Available for occasional evening meetings
- Experience with HOA or community association litigation is preferred
- Trial experience is a strong advantage
