Behavior Consultant, ABA - Clarvida, Harrisburg Hybrid

Clarvida is hiring a Behavior Consultant, ABA to assess children ages 2–21, develop treatment plans, and support ABA services. The role involves working with families, clients, and other providers to promote behavioral development.

Description

  • Provide direct care and supervisory support
  • Complete assessments for clients
  • Observe clients and identify target behaviors
  • Work with clients ages 2–21, their families, and other service providers
  • Create Individualized Treatment Plans addressing strengths and improvement areas across child, family, educational, social, and recreational settings
  • Continually develop and review preference assessments, reinforcement approaches, and rehabilitative strategies prescribed by a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist and aligned with the Individualized Treatment Plan

Requirements

  • Master’s degree
  • Pennsylvania licensure as a Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with a mental health certification (CRNP), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Social Worker (LSW), or Behavior Specialist (LBS)
  • Scope of practice that authorizes oversight of ABA service delivery
  • BCaBA certification or another bachelor’s-level certification; or
  • At least one year of full-time ABA service experience and at least 12 ABA credits; or
  • At least one year of full-time ABA service experience under a professional with BCBA or another master’s-level behavior analysis certification, plus at least 40 hours of ABA-related training; or
  • Pennsylvania psychologist licensure, at least one year of full-time ABA service experience, and at least 40 hours of ABA-related training
