Associate Partner, Insurance Broking Accounts and Credit Control — Augment Risk (Remote, UK)

Augment Risk is seeking a remote UK Associate Partner to oversee Insurance Broking Accounts, premium funds, reconciliations, collections, and aged debt. The role supports FCA CASS compliance and efficient financial operations across a global capital risk intermediary.

Description

  • Manage Insurance Broking Accounts (IBA) across the full operational lifecycle
  • Coordinate with Finance, broking, and Client Solutions teams to process financial transactions efficiently
  • Oversee collections and follow up with clients and brokers to secure funds on schedule
  • Ensure balances are settled promptly and accurately
  • Apply incoming cash correctly across multiple accounts and transactions
  • Complete routine reconciliations and investigate variances
  • Direct credit control work and oversee aged debt portfolios
  • Strengthen cash collection results through effective follow-up and controls
  • Address accounting questions from brokers, finance teams, and external counterparties
  • Track broking-account cash flow and flag potential delays or risks
  • Maintain compliance with applicable FCA CASS requirements, internal controls, and company policies
  • Prepare management reporting on aged debt, cash allocations, reconciliations, and outstanding balances
  • Contribute to process enhancements and operational efficiency initiatives

Requirements

  • At least eight years of hands-on operational experience managing Insurance Broking Accounts (IBA)
  • Substantial experience in the reinsurance broking market
  • Detailed knowledge of premium accounting, cash allocation, and account reconciliations
  • Demonstrated background in credit control and debt recovery
  • Strong grasp of broking accounting procedures and financial controls
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Finance and Operations
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Consistently accurate work with close attention to detail
  • Clear communication and effective stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial systems
