Accounts Receivable and Collections Intern – Paris (Hybrid)

Description

  • Oversee the accounts receivable ledger.
  • Follow up on unpaid invoices and monitor timely payment receipt.
  • Contact clients by phone and email about overdue balances.
  • Investigate and resolve client payment questions.
  • Reconcile customer accounts accurately.
  • Apply cash receipts and allocate payments correctly.
  • Assist with month-end accounts receivable close activities.
  • Help improve processes across the collections cycle.
  • Work closely with Finance and Sales teams.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with international clients.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated interest in finance, credit management, client relations, and AI or automation tools.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and applying basic accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP or accounting software is advantageous.
  • Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and dependable.
  • Capable of working independently and contributing effectively within a team.
