Accounting Associate
Manage client portfolios and tax filings at EXCO, advising business owners as part of a French audit and accounting network.
Description
- Oversee a portfolio of individual and business clients, including agricultural, trade, and commercial accounts.
- Prepare VAT returns, annual accounts, and tax packages.
- Draft financial statements and present annual accounts to clients with the chartered accountant.
- Handle one-off assignments such as dashboards, financial forecasts, and performance indicators.
- Prepare personal income tax returns.
- Use digital tools to support clients’ accounting oversight and administrative organization.
- Advise business owners and contribute to the firm’s advisory services.
- Coordinate with the agency manager and the chartered accountant responsible for each engagement.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree (three years of higher education) or a master’s degree (five years).
- Have at least five years of experience in a similar role.
- Prior experience at an accounting firm is preferred.
- Experience with agricultural accounting is an advantage.
- Be curious, organized, and methodical.
- Have a strong interest in digital tools.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
- Be proficient with, or able to use, Pennylane, ISACOMPTA, RCA Bilan Imagé, Prévi Flash, AGORA Expert, COT TNS, an internal document management system, and a digital platform.
