Accountant II (Onsite, Mount Vernon, AL)
Support SAP billing, accounts payable, job costing, and month-end close. The role also contributes to financial reporting and accounting administration.
Description
- Create SAP job records and organize job folders
- Support accounts payable processing in SAP
- Manage contract billing in SAP
- Help complete the month-end close
- Assist the Accounting Manager with accurate, timely financial statements
- Review and interpret SAP job-costing reports
- Check biweekly hourly timesheets in UKG (Kronos)
- Take on other administrative and accounting projects as needed
- Report to the Accounting Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with accounting processes; manufacturing experience is preferred
- Up to two years of financial experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- SAP experience preferred
