- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience in place of a degree
- Typically, at least 2 years of related professional experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language and working knowledge of others
- Solid understanding of software development principles
- Ability to design, code, test, and debug complex software development environments
- Experience with Agile and Scrum or Kanban methodologies
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Security Clearance
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Preferred: Security+ or IAT Level II certification
- Preferred: DevOps or DevSecOps engineering experience
- Preferred: Python or Bash scripting experience
- Preferred: CI/CD pipelines and GitHub or GitLab experience
- Preferred: Terraform or Ansible experience
- Preferred: Docker and Kubernetes experience
- Preferred: Windows and Linux software development experience
