- Contribute vendor revenue analysis to Gartner’s Market Share research.
- Assess vendor revenue performance, growth, acquisitions, geographic expansion, and other strategic developments.
- Analyze technology market supply and demand, macroeconomic indicators, and regulatory influences.
- Use Gartner’s estimation methodology to model individual vendor revenue.
- Research end-user buying behavior, IT vendor business models, and competitive conditions to support forecast assumptions and storylines.
- Contribute to Competitive Landscape, Opportunity Forecast, Emerging Brief, and First Take publications.
- Analyze competition among AI vendors, including changes in products, business models, and strategy.
- Build familiarity with internal and external data assets to support new data-driven deliverables.
- Use AI tools in research deliverables and support their continued development.
- Improve processes by streamlining workflows and applying best practices.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders on publications and initiatives.
- Contribute to market vision at local, regional, and global levels.
आवश्यकताएँ
- BE/B.Tech and an MBA with 2–5 years of work experience, or
- A graduate degree and an MBA from a leading Tier I or Tier II business school, or
- A graduate or postgraduate qualification in IT, mathematics, statistics, finance, or economics (such as B.Sc., BBA, B.A. Economics, or B.Com).
- Technology research experience is a plus; a keen interest in IT markets is required.
- Strong numeracy and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to quickly understand and explain market fundamentals and demand and growth drivers.
- Understanding of key technology and macroeconomic trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of databases such as Factiva, Capital IQ, or Crunchbase, and data visualization tools such as Power BI and advanced Excel, is a plus.
- Knowledge of structured research using AI tools is a plus.
